Bird Hunting
Guided Bird Hunting Trips
In addition to all the quality fishing, Lost River Outfitters offers guided bird hunting trips in the area: Chukar hunting in the hills south of the Wood River valley and Pheasant hunting on the 7 Mile Ranch . The local Chukar hunting season runs from October 1 to the end of January and can be very exciting. The Pheasant hunting season runs from mid August to mid April. The 7 Mile Ranch offers great pheasant cover and Lost River Outfitters has exclusive rights on this property.
We have a variety of hunting dogs from pointers, to retrievers, to pointing retrievers. Watching these dogs at work is worth the price of admission.
